Phytoestrogen Cream
The word phytoestrogen comes from "phyto," meaning plant, and "estrogen," signifying their ability to affect estrogenic activity in your body. While, not chemically identical to the hormone your body makes, phytoestrogens can fill empty estrogen receptor sites and produce mild estrogen-like effects.
This can be a real help if your estrogen level is low, as it is in menopause. But also, phytoestrogens can be helpful if your estrogen levels are high, as in women who suffer from PMS, menstrual irregularities and endometriosis. High levels of estrogen are referred to as "estrogen dominance," which can produce breast tenderness, bloating, irritability and mood swings.
Estrogen-dominant women use phytoestrogens to compete with their own estrogens for binding to receptors. This can help reduce the overall estrogenic effect in the body because the effects of phytoestrogens tend to be milder than those of estrogen.

Dosage/Instructions: Massage ¼ to ½ teaspoon of cream into skin. Suggested application sites include the palms, inner arms, abdomen, chest, insides of the thighs, and backs of the knees. Emerita® Phytoestrogen Cream may be used daily. Individual needs may vary.
