Osteoporosis, literally "porous bones," is the major underlying cause of none fractures in post-menopausal women and the elderly. Rainbow Light's Osteo-Build™ product is a breakthrough formula that incorporates the most current scientific research with the great herbal healing traditions of the world, featuring:
- 1,000 mg of calcium, in highly absorbable forms. Adequate calcium intake, as part of a healthful diet throughout life, is essential to reduce the risk of osteoporosis. it is especially important that teen and young adult women meet the daily value for calcium.
- 600 mg of impriflavone, the ground-breaking new ingredient that has been shown to increase the amount of calcium retained in bones, helping build bone density, even later in life.
- Additional bone-supporting nutrients such as magnesium, necessary for bone formation; manganese, which supports bone growth and repair; boron, which reduces the excretion of calcium and magnesium; and vitamin D, which protects calcium stored in bone.
