- 1,000 mg of vitamin C per tablet, with citrus bioflavonoids. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that plays a vital role in many immune system activities, and supports the normal maintenance and repair of connective tissue. Bioflavonoids naturally occur with vitamin C and enhance its activity.
- Fruit and vegetable powders such as orange, guava and broccoli, that naturally contain vitamin C and its cofactors, making Food-Based C-1000 more like a tool than regular supplements.
- Elder, an herb used in Native American Herbalism to support the health of the natural defenses.
- A base of spirulina, a blue-green algae that is one of the world's most nutritious foods.
